These are the mandrels I use to make my 18mm lampwork glass snap charms (18mm once set into the snap bezels) and when teaching my snap jewelry cabochon classes. I've been using these for a year now and have been working with the tool maker to iterate the design to suit this purpose.
The cabs will cleanly fall off during the annealing cycle, and will be a cinch to clean up with your rotary tool afterwards (no little divot to clean out). The handles are 12" long for easy garaging in the kiln, and are comfortable to grip.
This listing is for one mandrel. Most flameworkers prefer to have at least 3-5 of these, to allow them to make more cabochons in a sitting.
